I have known I was trans for a long time. I remember the first time I really thought about it, I was about five. I spent most of my life thinking I was acutely crazy, or an idiot, or just some kind of jerk. It wasn't until my late twenties that I learned there were female to male trans people as well as male to female trans people, that the gender spectrum was not a solid binary, etc. Anyway, I'm a lot happier and saner and healthier now that I live as a man.

I have five tattoos, and an appointment next month for a sixth one.

While I am not great at it, I really enjoy dancing.

In early 1993 I crashed my bike pretty badly, leaving a chunk of gravel embedded in my palm. It's still there.

I once won a small scholarship with a poem about how Iggy Pop kept me off drugs. I have no idea how, because I don't understand poetry and it was terrible. The girl who won the top prize made a board game.

There are two cats living in my house, Pumpkin and Jasmine.

I can make a great chocolate cherry pie, and a full Southern style coconut cake from scratch.

I work a manual labor service job because it leaves me a lot of free time to write and that makes me happy.
