elf

Ahh, there's just something about this one. I wanted to be an elf so much as a child. Partially for the immortality, partially for Legolas, and partially because I thought I would look awesome with pointed ears.
I should go see that movie again, for a lot of reasons.

Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to keep my characters from killing or kissing each other. They can't make up their minds, and it's giving me a headache.

that's when they have a wrist-grabbing, faces milimeters away from each other argument.

Good luck to you! I should so like to write a book myself one day.

Ahh yes.
Almost done now. A few more minutes and I'll have it up.

Timing -- I just managed to upload 41.

Whee. Chapter 4 is live. Such fun!

Heh, thanks. It's fun, really. Writing. Even if you're just writing to entertain yourself and a few friends. I won't win a Pulitzer with this one, but it's so enjoyable.

What would you like to write a book about?

Orlando Bloom is hot.

I have pointed ears (they were more pointed when I was younger), and I used to pretend that I was an elf. My friend Leah and I would sit for long moments under the jungle gym and carry on detailed "conversations" in our own unintelligible form of "elvish".

I hadn't been attached to Legolas in the book.

Reminds me of Drennan. I always thought she must be part elvish. During middle school we worked out a complicated code of sorts, based off some fantasy.

Perhaps I will just speak in unintelligible elvish today at work? :P

You know someone named Drennan?

I know someone named D'drennan, who is one of the most otherworldly creatures I've ever met. I've known him for years now, and I'm still not even remotely sure he is human or mortal.

I haven't got the faintest idea, but I know I want it to have a happy ending. I like books that make me feel happy at the end, but sad that the story is finished.

Ahh, like The Last Unicorn? Nifty.

we have the strangest coincidences

Wow. How odd. Drennan was one of my two best friends as a child. Very tall, lovely, elfin sort of girl.
