Home now, sitting with Micah on the couch. My ankle is bandaged and sore, and I have this amazing new tattoo. The adrenaline is still racing, and I was rather giddy in the store buying chocolate and antibacterial ointment.

I feel so so so good about this. Like something dark has been taken out of my soul. I am new again.

It is! My very first tattoo. What fun! I already understand why everyone says it is addictive. Heh.
