tattoo

Home now, sitting with Micah on the couch. My ankle is bandaged and sore, and I have this amazing new tattoo. The adrenaline is still racing, and I was rather giddy in the store buying chocolate and antibacterial ointment.

I feel so so so good about this. Like something dark has been taken out of my soul. I am new again.

I wish I had the temperment to get a tattoo. It isn't the needles that bug me, I'm more like bothered by the whole 'permanent' thing. It's too bad they don't wash out in a month.

I was nervous, but I realized that I had already made many permanent decisions. So it wasn't as bad as I feared. Perhaps someday inspiration will strike you.
