ink and ice cream

threeplusfireRemind me never to go home for lunch again. At least we managed to fix the car quickly. I'm taking it in to Charly next week I hope, and then it will be a happier machine.
I watched the last three hours of Micah's tattoo last night. Very stoic about the whole thing, and at times, you would have thought he was asleep except for the occaisional twitch of his mouth. He has a beautiful Celtic cross on his back now, with lovely knotwork. Afterwards we went to Metro for ice cream and coffee to celebrate. Eventually my own adrenaline wore off and I had to head home to crawl into a shower and then to bed.
Leaving Metro, I saw this girl sprawled on the couch... wavy, long, blonde hair, pale skin, dark eye makeup, lipstick, wearing jeans and a tshirt. I was possessed over the overwhelming urge to stare at her. My feeling are still riled.
I've decided that some guilty pleasures ought not to be labeled "guilty." I've been listening to the new club music station in the car almost constantly lately. It reminds me of Prague, and sometimes I hear stuff I just adore. This does not endanger my rock n roll credentials I think. Ahh.
Don't want to go to work, don't want to, no no no. Not a break until Friday.
