everything comes to an end

Well. I missed the email on Friday, so I showed up at work today. To a big empty parking lot and an empty building. I put five minutes on my time card. The day shift supervisor kindly let me sit around checking my mail and cleaning out my office.

Damn. Not that I loved my job but it paid what I need and it worked with my schedule. The uncertainty of looking for another job drives me crazy. Bah! Just stick me in another job. Don't make me wander around town looking for it!

I should be more concerned but I'm not. Ah well. I think I will go get my textbooks instead.
