Dreaming, the kind of dream that stays with you a few moments after you wake, and you half expect the world to be different, another place and time entirely. I thought there was someone in my room this morning, and it wasn't enough I got out of the shower that I could shake the feeling. I really shouldn't stay in bed so late, it makes everything strange.

I totally relate to this entry. I can't tell you how often this has happened to me. Sometimes I wake up and I have to mentally remind myself of the day and where I presently am at the moment. ;)

I get this a lot too, although that's a complicated thing. [reive is very strange]. but often it's a "why is this room laid out this way? why is it so bright? oh, right! I'm the girl, who lives in NY who doesn't have shades. I was forgetting again."

My room is alright til about 9am, when it suddenly becomes blindingly bright and I curse myself roundly each morning for not covering the window.

It doesn't help that I can still feel the dream, and the edge of the counter under my palms, and the way he took my hand. Just, odd.

Okay, that is odd. But wait, listen, have you ever woken up and your body jumped and you felt like maybe you weren't ready to wake up and that maybe you needed to stay for awhile out there...on the astral plane? Once I had a dream I was flying through a mansion with empty rooms and I could swoop up on the balcony and go down into the living room and kitchen. A place I've never seen in real life, so how was it in my dream?

But you take care. Dreaming is cool. Sometimes I'd rather dream than be awake. My job still sux.

Right? The dreaming is much better than going to work.

I dream so often of places, and they seem to be combinations of so many things I've seen. I don't realize it til I'm walking around somewhere and think, I've seen this.

Some days. All I want to do is dream.
