We're having one of those absurd evenings that is both hilariously geeky and slightly romantic and really rather pleasant. Gene has purchased a grill, after declaring the one in front of the building unfit. He has two of the computers over here so we can rip and burn my entire cd collection. Spent the better part of an hour laying on his bed reading a very odd and dry South African novel which won the Booker Prize a few years back. Right now I'd settle for the steak, which looks very inviting right now. Gene's stalking around, waving a cigarette with one hand and sometimes telling me to shut up. (Really, I can't help but laugh) The laundry buzzer is very loud where I am sitting. We're doing laundry too, you see. I'm dressed as the female Johnny Cash today, complete with hat.
