myslim ze nevim

How long has it been raining? I do not remember now.

I dreamed again. Of course. I suppose most people dream often, that it is a natural consequence of brain function. But I wonder if anyone else dreams the same things I do.

It's always so tactile, so realistic and raw, full of the strange details of life. The man with the white ostrich feather on his tophat, the professor sitting on the South Mall gleefully telling a joke, the brief bursts of rain that shimmered and fell star-like to the ground. We played cards, and I scuffed my shoes. I dreamed of walking with him, of kissing him, of conversations so painfully real. And yet, I still wake up alone.

I know what you mean.

My dreams, the lucid ones at least, involve massive industrial complexes in NW Indiana, the kind you find in a World of Darkness setting. I can smell them, and feel them, and often nearly die in them.

But by far, the worst are those where I wake up, go about my day, usually have a fairly good one, then around dinnertime, my alarm goes off, and I wake for real.

Always leave me drained those do.

This definitely seems like unusual weather for Texas. :)

readjustment to reality is not fun

I dreamed once, of a very long and difficult day that involved a few of my friends. When I got up in the morning, I was quite sure this had all happened, and went quietly on my way to school, wondering how we were going to deal with all the weird things that had happened yesterday. (Note that the weird things happening amongst my friends didn't seem out of place at all) I ran into the person who should have been in the hospital, and everything came crashing back. But not before I said enough odd things to raise eyebrows.

Well, it rains for days on end sometimes. Just no in the middle of July. This should be happening in February or so.
