threeplusfireFootball games are only entertaining-interesting after a few beers. This is what I learned yesterday. That, and I had forgotten how loud Melynda yells at the television.
It was nice, though, to hang out with friends. I ended up having a long conversation about brain chemistry, anti-depressants, suicide, recreational drug use, habits versus addictions and other things with James and Rachel. Bright green butter indeed. It reinforces my belief that any drug use needs to be a matter of thought, that one really should research and know what the hell all these chemicals are doing. I fell asleep in the bed after they left, because Melynda was already out on the couch. Strange dreams, about Gene and New York.
Somewhere yesterday, I banged my right hand on something, and I can fel the bruise settling under the skin.
