threeplusfireYesterday, I cleaned up the disasters of the bookcases in the dining room. Gene didn't believe all the books would fit, but they do. Even alphabetized them, at least the fiction.
While cleaning, I've found a few random photographs and postcards. A picture of Doc at the UIL tournament held at McNeil, a family potrait done when I must have been three or so, because my sister isn't there. There was also a photo of myself in my black winter coat, on that spring break trip to D.C., standing outside the Newseum in the cold. It snowed on us one day. There's also a postcard, NYC 2001, shot from the air just south of Manhattan. The Trade Center is tall in the foreground.
I am always amazed when I see a Simpsons episode that has never crossed my screen before. Why haven't I seen this one, with Burns dating this crazy young woman? And why is it dedicated to the memory of George Harrison?
