threeplusfireI find myself morbidly fascinated with the recent shootings in the Northeast, and the news coverage. The live video feed just cut out on CNN, and I can imagine someone cursing under their breath and hunting for the cables that slipped loose. I like watching the police teams work, crawling around to check the lines of possible shots.
Their security arrangements are useless. It's random, chaotic.
Melynda and I hatched an evil scheme last night to take over the Halloween party. We're coercing our friends into dressing up as Harry Potter folk. She'll be Hermione, of course. I'm torn between playing Lucius and playing Severus. The Professor would be easier, since my hair is already black, and it would give me the opportunity to yell at everyone all evening. The only thing we need to figure out is where to get some Gryffindor and Slytherin scarves. Surely they can be had.
