The excitement of work caused me to completely miss the fact that today is National Coming Out Day. It's also the first year in a long time that I haven't been down on campus and listened to speeches that were sometimes prosaic, sometimes extraordinary and always heartfelt.

Because I don't think I've ever declared it in writing, though I know I've said it out loud: I am bisexual. I like women and men.

I'm drinking a beer and watching A Perfect Murder, with all those cool shots of the Met's Egypt Wing. Life, at this moment, is grand.

I was impressed they were able to inject a certain amount of originality and intrigue into what of course is essentially a remake. And yes, the casting really did help. ;)
