Add to my list of older men who I find weirdly attractive, Al Pacino. Hmm. I'm just watching movies, wasting time. TCM showed Freaks earlier, which I don't think I've seen in six or seven years. The Man in the Moon is on right now, which I first watched at Tracey's house probably about ten years ago. It's sad and a little odd, with this film image of the South, and boys who drive pickup trucks. Reese Witherspoon plays Dani, and she reminds me painfully of myself at that age and the friendships I had, how I wanted some of them to be more.

Oh I had forgotten the horrible tractor accident that kills Cort. God. I think I'm going to go watch Picture of Dorian Grey now instead.

I adore Al Pacino. I think he was the first *male* movie star crush I ever had (my first one was Katharine Hepburn).

He's just so good looking, and tightly wound on screen.

Oh Katherine Hepburn. I adore that woman. She's one of my all time favorites, along with Lauren Bacall.

I find myself wanting to ruffle his hair. Mmm.

Mmm, that would be super nice.

gawd he's sexy. esp. in his younger days---

I told one of my friends, "Al Pacino is one of the sexiest men ever" and he was like "what?! THAT is sexy!?" tee hee hee

Al Pacino? Why not Harvey Keitel? Or Christopher Walken? (Mr Walken is one of my personal favorites... wacky, wacky horrible-singer crazyman...) Well, so long as Scott Baio or a Keanu Reeves pre-or-post 21 Jumpstreet aren't in the "list". Then again, I should be chastised for bringing up 21 Jumpstreet.

Older men are absolutely wonderful.

My Russian professor has forever been drool-worthy...and my old boss, who also spoke Russian, was incredibly cute as well. Dr. Q though is like in his mid 40's and has black curly hair and wears these cute little glasses and knows absolutely everything. So does his wife...my other prof! She hates it when we drool over her husband.

Hehehehe. Al Pacino's part of my fantasy of robbing a diner and taking off into the night. I have watched way too many movies. :P

Of course Harvery Keitel and Christopher Walken are on the list! They also have very good voices. Mmmm. Hurrah for men with extra-creepy voices.

If I ever come across Keanu Reeves, I'm going to duct tape him into a little box and drop it in the ocean. Gah. No Scott Baio either, thank you.

Though I must confess to a secret love for Larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing on Dallas. I loved that show, it was part of my childhood, and damn it al, I wanted to be J.R.!

Heheheh. Oh, professors. One of my Russian profs was over six feet tall, incredibly built, had beautiful bronze skin and curly black hair with green eyes... oh, I was so in love with the man. There is a Czech prof who visits every other year to teach, and he's the epitomy of gorgeous Slavic professor. Shoulder length dark hair, with streaks of silver at the temples, dark eyes, aristocratic nose, charming smile, nice clothes, smokes like a fiend, and has the single most beautiful voice I have ever had the pleasure of listening to in my life. I could listen to him talk for hours. Funny how he always had a lot of female students. ;)

Ohhhhhhh, I *love* The Man in the Moon. In spite of the horrible tractor scene. I'd forgotten that Reese Witherspoon was in it, though -- goodness.

OH!!!
Yes.
He wasn't the first, but he was one of the first.
And Hepburn is a goddess.

I adore Christopher Walken, and think he's a sexy bastard.
Anyone who can tapdance that well, AND be that creepy, is ok in my book.

Sounds kind of like Dr. Q on steroids, the first ... heheh ... I have a strange affinity for short and stocky older men.

And beautiful voices are always a plus~

Hehe, funny, I think there are more males in our department here...but we have two really hot women professors, so I guess that's part of it. My friends always spoke of our club advisor in this manner:

"I'll do the crime if she'll do the punishment."

Siiiiiiiiiigh. Boys will be boys I suppose.

I don't think they ever said anything about Irinia Ivovna for fear of her husband, Dr Q. Or if they did, just never publicly and to my knowledge. She's really cool though, she was going to let me skip a midterm to go to SXSW my freshman year (b/c she was jealous and wanted to see the Vandals), but I ended up missing out anyway.

It's a good movie, I think. Funny how I didn't remember the sad parts about the ending.

My Russian prof would wear shorts, and prop his feet up on the desk during Dostoevsky class. I found it hard to be completely coherent while looking at his legs. *blushes bright pink*

Wow, she was going to let you skip to hop down to SXSW? That's so awesome.

Hana, my Czech prof, is one of my personal heroes. She's just an amazing, strong woman and has given me so much of her time and attention over the years.

I want to be a professor one day. :D

Yes, the creepy dancing Walken is one of the coolest things ever.

You know...I never wanted to be one until I became a Russian student, and furthermore, Russian club pres. I went into the first years to tell them all about meetings and what-not, and they were just like "tell us in Russian!" and they got all wide-eyed and were like "whoa that's so cool".

I love having admirers. I don't think I could be a teacher of absolutely anything else...but what I really want to do is write for The Stranger (http://www.thestranger.com).

Egads... Katherine Hepburn is so... OLD. Like, even in a movie filmed in the 1930's, she's like 45 years old. That's ridicurous.

I'm more of an Audrey fan... even if her movies aren't even that great.

Ever meet Professor Wynn? I'm straight and all, but I thought he was really handsome. And he has this sheepish quality to him, but he's extremely intelligent and experienced behind it all.

What can I say, I find people with some age much more attractive for some reason.

Audrey is so funny. I really like her in Sabrina.

I loved Wynn's class on Soviet History, his lectures were great. He is another one! What is it with all these professors from CREES and the Slavic department? ;)
