Old habits die slowly.

In the car, I caught myself looking in the passenger side mirror, watching the curve of the road and the grass in the rain slipping behind me. I caught myself composing those small, internal movies, music videos really, since they always have songs. I used to do this on the bus with my walkman, in the car, all the time. After awhile, it stops being a conscious endeavour, and these unscripted moments are mentally filed by the angle of the shots, or the sequencing.

It's one of those things that makes me think I would make a hell of a camera person. Maybe not a director, but a pretty good cinematographer.

Staying at my mother's house for a few days, sleeping in a bed for a change, playing with the cats. I am without direction. I visit my computer in the afternoons.
