threeplusfireI wore my costume all afternoon, because the apartment office was having a contest for the best one, and just because I felt like it. Hey, maybe we'll get $50 off the rent for my sweeping black grandeur.
Spent the day in Metro, playing cards and reading Les Liasons Dangereuses for the umpteenth time. Rachel brought us some candy, and Kim wore her devil horns, which are quite sparkly and red.
Gene and I sat for a time reading in the dusk, while a parade of kids in costume stopped for coffee before their revelry. I did see one guy in a fantastic Indiana Jones costume, and it made me smile. We ate Chinese food and came home, where I am watching Spawn with the sound off and listening to the new Tori Amos album.
