tonight i made this wonderful seafood cavatappi (a clam, shrimp and halibut sauce over spirally pasta, better than it sounds :) , chive-and-garlic knots (an ingenious "roll" option that can be found on the cooking light website), and brussel sprouts sauteed with shallots (actually yummy, who knew?)
i used to tell my bill that he needed to find a fortune so i could be his cookie chef. i told him "you wouldn't have to marry me, just give me my own wing in your house and i'll make the whole place smell like cinnamon ." i really meant it!
dan seems to think i should have a job. i feel like being a grad student is such a sham sometimes... i'm much more convincing as a domestic. do report on what you make from gourmet. this month's martha stewart is YUMMY. check it out- a whole feature on pomegranites! (i'm hoping they are a hidden secret like the brussel sprouts were, at the least they are undeniably romantic!) off to skim articles (more pretending?)
