mochi

Mochi mochi mochi. I just read a restaraunt review and they have mochi downtown at Noodle-ism. Not only could I have delicious noodles, I could have green tea mochi, and chocolate mochi... mmm. So very tempting.

It's ice cream wrapped in sweet rice dough. It's super good. They have strawberry, chocolate, mango, green tea and coffee flavored ones at Noodle-ism.

first time i ever had this was when i was stationed in japan. we used to but it at the circle k (no shit, circle k in japan). they only had the vanilla ones.

japan has the strangest foods. i mean, chicken donuts? but the mr. donut had the *best* green tea shakes.

I love random Japanese snacks. Wasabi peas, and odd stuff with marshmallow and all that... back when I worked at the dot-com I had a coworker who imported all kinds of fun stuff.

And a green tea shake sounds so good right now.

the chinese restaurant that i love here in roanoke has green tea ie cream (the only place around here that does) and mochi. i had to force my boyfriend to try it, now he loves it.

i'm not overly fond of the strawberry or red bean...i really miss the vanilla
