It is not more of a problem because it is actually quite hard. Perhaps not complex, but very prone to exploding. Most meth labs are pretty far out in the wilds for just that reason.
Meth, while cooking, is unstable, and this causes explosions if you are not careful, and very good at your 'job'. These are the odd things you learn when your father is with the FBI.
