No Edith Wharton for me. I wound up driving to a video store near the house, and looking for The Age of Innocence which they didn't have. So I rented Burnt by the Sun and Luna Park instead. I love Luna Park, especially the opening scene. There are times when I half wish I was not American, that I lived in a time and place where it was easier to define the evil and fight it. No I don't romanticize revolution. I just wish I knew what it felt like to live in it.
