I dreamed about a river of cloudy water, and red ibises with purple tails, and being frightened, clinging to a pillar and not knowing what was in the water.
Needless to say, we did not sleep well. Except for Gene, who slept til noon and is skipping classes to read on the porch in the sunshine. Melynda came home early from work to go back to bed, as she's feverish. So Gene and I read, drink soda and the weather is nice enough that I want to sit on the porch railing to smoke.
More work today. Strange how short the weekends feel again. Working on Friday nights might contribute to that too.
I've made a pie, mint chocolate in a graham cracker crust.

Re:
Take about 3/4 cup of milk, and mix with chocolate instant pudding. Let stand for a minute or two to start thickening, then add most of a pint of mint chocolate chip ice cream. Mix together until smooth. Helps to use a whisk. Pour into a cookie pie crust, and pop into the freezer. Before serving, stick it in the fridge for an hour or to soften it slightly so cutting is easier.
-3/4 cup milk
-one package instant pudding
-one pint ice cream
-one cookie crust
You can make whatever combination you like, with different puddings and ice creams and such.

But yeah. Flux and all that. The world is changing.
