So yesterday was long. And stressful for reasons that had nothing to do with the day itself. Though I did get two valentines, and a bit of candy from Linda and her sister at work. They're very funny girls.
It was a relief to crash back to earth, watch the last half of the movie and then sit up til 4:30 in the morning talking to Gene about various things. I never knew the meaning of calculus before. It was the sort of contact I've been missing all week. We're going out to eat Indian food later on, and I'm terribly glad. Not only that I get to spend some time with my favorite misanthropic, too-intelligent-for-his-own-good friend, but also food.
Trying to air out the apartment. It smells funny for some reason, and it could stand a good scrubbing.
