Crispin Glover as Willard, and I am scared

Now that's a creepy trailer. And the fact that they use the Smashing Pumpkins' "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" is funny beyond words. I've got to see this movie now, regardless of whether it is good or bad.

It's near dawn and I'm up. Haven't managed to watch any of the three movies I have, because I've been sucked into one thing or another all night. Well, I watched a bit of Brotherhood of the Wolf but it's hard to read subtitles and type at the same time.

So apparently there is a party tomorrow in the apartment.

I spent more than an hour balancing multiple conversations and an upset roommate when I got home this morning. It's given me a headache that has not abated.

Work was productive. I feel good about it. Plus, I got cookies.

I must buy diamonds, so I can charm a certain lovely woman into running away to Prague with me.

I should also perhaps sleep so I don't go insane.

Crispin is weirdness incarnate...I still don't know if it's a good weird or a bad weird. And before you run off to Prague with someone dripping in diamonds, you wanna come over next weekend and help me paint my bedroom? (Pizza & beer, pizza & beer, pizza & beer...convinced yet?)

That is the most inspired casting I HAVE EVER SEEN. THAT MOVIE IS GOING TO BE FANTASTIC. And did you notice the crazy drill sergant from "Full Metal Jacket" is in it too?

Heheh, it's so bizarre! I've got to see that movie.

Thanks. I'm hoping I can get a good word in with the Russians, and hopefully get the diamonds. Maybe a MiG as well, and a nice dacha... mwuhahaha.

Oh yes! That sounds like such a good idea. Pizza, beer, and paint. I'm so there.

I'd never even heard of this Williard thing. I think I'll be obsessed. I think it also seems like it will be very sad.

Ah and how I love how LJ provides for so many needs -- lawyers, diamonds and fans!

Heh.

It does indeed look bittersweet and strange.

Bless LJ and all it's madness. And really, what more do you need now? ;)

You can watch the original movie with Ed Asner - that's one of those creepy 70s movies that rode the wave of animals attacking (best being Jaws, worst might be Night of the Lepus - about killer bunny rabbits - no really) but it had the human pet owner.

I think he also named his rat Socrates - which is what i named my cat - so I think there's lingering affection.

Night of the Lepus! Oh god, that movie is so funny and wrong.

But I really must track down the original now, because I love older horror movies. My mom had a rat named Socrates, and she must have gotten it from there.
