I drove home a bit after seven this morning, in the bright morning, singing along at the top of my lungs to They Might Be Giants "Birdhouse in Your Soul." There is no fitting description for the absurd joy there was, or the smile on my face, or the happiness at just being in that moment.

So I woke at after 4 this afternoon. Picked up lots of books to give my father for his birthday, put my hair in pigtails and I'm bopping along quite merrily.
