I recall a friend wondering why I thought the film was so good and complaining that Keanu was flat cardboard and two dimensional.
I replied that he was playing a villain in a Shakespearian comedy, ergo he is *supposed* to be flat cardboard and two dimensional. Okay, he took it a little far, but at least he wasn't playing Claudio.
