threeplusfireSo after the horrible grueling announcement, I ended up banging out at least twice my amount of work. Yay for fear, the ultimate motivator. Hopefully if I keep it up, my job will be safe.
The high point of the day was after work, sitting in Metro in my silky black shirt and listening to the Crow soundtrack and Depeche Mode while talking to Brett. It was good, in ways both prosaic and hard to define. It makes me happy.
Drove home in the misty, cloudy dawn where the light was strangely blue and beautiful.
