Yesterday was fun. We sat in the bar from about 3pm to close to 11pm, drinking, eating, playing trivia and then watching the basketball games. I managed to get my name on the top score board twice, and beat James once, which is always an ego boost. We made fun of the huge number of skeevy frat mattress girls in the bar, and I had to resist the urge to punch on who repeatedly invaded my personal space in a less than nice manner. But Cain & Abel's is a pretty decent place, for being in West Campus. They renovated recently, and they now have the Star Seeds Menu til 5am. Which means I can get my eggs and hashbrowns fix without crossing 35 now. I like the place.

Everyone trundled to Metro on foot to sober up. Well except for Nick and James doing drunken karoke. Nick was so wasted he couldn't sing "Ring of Fire." I played some cards with Melynda and Steven, and it's sad that I lost to two drunk people.

I woke up at 8am this morning, to the grey skies and rain. It's about 80 and sunny now, and it feels like summer. Just for the hell of it, I went to the grocery store. Well, we really did need toliet paper. But it feels good to be able to go where I want, when I want. I have a car.
