good morning to me

So I drove home with the sun up, and the lights clicking off down the highway as I passed. Stopped at Sonic for one of those breakfast toaster sandwiches and tater tots. Because after a night of drinking, Monty Python and hysterical conversation (and good kissing) all a girl wants is fried potato and egg on bread. With bacon.

It's well after sunrise and I'm bloody hyper as hell. I should like to run around the apartment sharing my joy and amusement but Melynda and Gene are still asleep. What a pity. What a grand night.

It's a good thing you didn't run around this morning sharing of your joy, I had a hell of time getting to sleep at all last night. If you'd woken me up I might have killed you... I'm glad, though, that you had fun. I'll try and wait up for you tonight.
