I'm incapable of packing. It's just ridiculous. I'm actually more thoughtful about deciding which movie to watch instead of putting things in the suitcase. To be fair, I've packed my dresses, a bar of soap, one shirt, two pairs of underwear and four packs of cigarettes.

Need to decide which pair of shoes to take, and my clothes should hurry up and dry. I need to run to the store and pick up things but I'm hanging around hoping the UPS guy will show up before 4:30 with my pajamas. I kinda need those. Instead of doing anything remotely useful, I think I'll watch a movie. Right. Good plan.

Piano bar, Thursday night. Oh life is good. The birds are singing, the windows are open, and now if the sun would just come back out...

Ahh! I will get in close to midnight on Wednesday and I'm there til Tuesday afternoon. Opera, food, scoping out Columbia University for grad school and such things. I can't wait to see you again!
