Had an absolutely lovely little meal, omelette with lox and onions and potatoes and toast, in this cute little place with the charming Hannah today. She's witty and friendly, which makes up for her being taller than me! But I did so enjoy our time, that we ended up talking so much that I missed my meet-up with Velma and crew for musical. Am obviously a bit flakey and not time wise when away from my typical horizon. Argh. Great move self. Will hopefully find some way to make this up.

My lovely hostess is ill, and I am trying not to be the insane let-me-take-care-of-everything-for-you bint that I tend to be when my close friends are ill.

I am happy. Walked in the sunshine, road the subway to Brooklyn and back, and life is good.
