My coworker Mike has one of those fancy new Gameboys and was playing Metroid the other night. Want, want, want, but certainly do not need. It's awesome though.

Going to work tonight because there is free ice cream. Yeah, that's all.

The issue of communication is being pounded into my brain by the universe this week. Learn. To. Communicate. Because when you don't, everything gets crazy. You wind up saying stuff that makes you feel like an idiot ten hours later, or you just get completely baffled by the things other people say or do. Probably my karma for being such a git yesterday. I feel rather bad about it, because I certainly didn't intend to provoke that reaction from my friend just now. I realize there are numerous other factors at work. Still not a good feeling though.

Last night Melynda rescued me from work for 45 minutes. We ate Sonic in the parking lot.

I miss New York food. Though apparently I will be getting some in the mail, and it will be the coolest package ever. I should be nice and share with the roommates. But tortellini! All mine! I'm going to sit on the porch in my swimsuit and eat pasta salad.

I really should go swimming now that I think about it. Maybe Melynda will go with me sometime soon.
