WE woke up on time thankfully, despite the power going out. Some bastard broke into Gene's car, between 1am and 9:30am this morning. Melynda and I were walking outside to leave, and I had parked right beside Gene when I came home last night. His trucked was popped, and the passenger door open. Whoever did it managed a pretty neat job of it. They seem to have ignored everything else in the car. Bastards! He only had that stereo a month. We are so not pleased.

This happened to me and then my roomate. The cop said that this particular crime was just moved down from a felony to a misdameanor so there has been a rash of car break-ins from youths whose records get wiped clean of the crime when they turn eighteen. Sucks ass.
