threeplusfireMelynda took me to lunch at Houston's, our favorite steak place. The food is always prepared exactly as you wish, the service is great, and the atmosphere of the restaraunt is pleasant and well suited to quiet meals for two or larger gatherings. They put anchovies in my Ceasar salad, and my steak is as rare as can be legally served. My filet was sweet, melting and delicious.
We talked and talked, and it is one of the things I love about this friendship. We may be such different people in certain ways, but we work well together.
Afterwards, we sped off to Best Buy. Now we own the newest Placebo album so I can listen to it in my car, The Ref and Ghost in the Shell. Two movies we shall undoubtedly watch eight million times.
Wearing my soft, long sleeved grey shirt because my night of restless sleep has left me wanting some kind of comfort. Not looking forward to work, but I glady traded the time off for those days in New York.
