she uses tangerines.....
Jun. 13th, 2003 03:39 pmAside from the 92% humidity, and the clouds, today has been an awesome day.
Micah and I went out to Magnolia for lunch, where there was much queso and chips and potatoes covered in cheese and verde sauce. With big glasses of iced tea. We ate and ate, and talked and talked more. Got a phone call from Rach, who is camped out for La Boheme tickets and talked yet more. Then we ran down to Waterloo intending to make a quick stop that turned into 45 minutes of shopping. They were playing a cd from this band called Bedhead in the store that I had to buy, and Jesus and Mary Chain's Honey's Dead, and Fleetwood Mac's Tango in the Night which was something I've listened to more in my life than any other one album.
We drove home listening to the Flaming Lips at screeching volume, singing and laughing. This is why I love Micah. He's the brother I never had, someone I feel close to, someone I share my secrets with and laugh and cry and do crazy shit like get tattoos with. Together, we are so cool. And I really don't care how egomaniac that sounds, because it's the truth. We are so cool.
Don't want to go to work tonight, but I will because I'm a good kid.
I am so damned happy some days.
