I can't stop laughing, or staring and smiling in this ridiculous manner that other people no doubt find unnerving. It's happiness and it's so overwhelming and I couldn't even begin to explain it.

Alan's on the phone with his father, and I just spoke to my mother. Seems so strange and unreal almost. This is the movie of my life and no one was more surprised than I when the script got changed at the last minute.

We didn't intend to do it this way, and between the two us the question was probably asked about six hundred times last night, in every room of the apartment.

Thank you to everyone who has offered their congratulations, their phone calls, their affection and even to those who have been skeptical. I have never been so glad to have these friends.

Thank you Racheline especially for forgiving my etiquette mistake last night, and for being so good to me in so many ways. I love you terribly, you know, and we're going to get a pirate ship and sail away to Latvia first chance we get.

We're still trying to remember how real this is, I think talking to parents made it hit home.

it will hit home when you get the invitations... when you see your names printed together-- holy cow! i'd been planning for about 8 months at that point..and it didn't seem real at all.

or you could skip printed invites and be in the euphoria forever.

I can't even begin to imagine. I'm thinking about reading your posts, and Nikki's and it still hasn't hit me that I'm going to be doing that soon. Eeee!
