my first apartment

threeplusfireI was just thinking about how much I like my apartment. I've lived here since June of 1999. It has been such a wonderful first apartment. In a nice complex, near the things I need, in a safe neighborhood. The place is spacious, with new grey carpet and blue-white walls and two glass doors onto a porch. Northern light through my windows, and a fire place. A big bathroom with lots of counter space. High ceilings. A space for my washer and dryer. It stays fairly cool in the summer.
I wish I had taken more pictures of this place. I love it and I will miss it when I move out in a few months. There is something so satisfying about laying on my living room floor, looking around me. This place, this place that has been mine for almost two years now. I hadn't realized how I fond of this place I was until I started thinking about leaving.
