Think the era shown in Brotherhood of the Wolf, the world coming out of centuries of mysticism to the beginnings of a magical/mechanical Industrial Revolution. I believe the name of the setting is Iron Kingdoms. The guns are predominantly single shot rifles and pistols, powered by a sort of alchemical mixture. You've got to make a reload check and have some skill to use them.
