Few things cure a hangover better than food that's bad for you. Possessed of an unnatural craving for Sonic, I braved the daylight hours to get a burger, tater tots, and a bacon & egg sandwich. It was so delicious, and most likely unhealthy. I ate it all. I almost ordered the super tater tots, which are covered in chili, cheese, jalapenos and ranch dressing.

The hangover was a good thing I suppose. It got me out of the house very early, on a gorgeous day. Blue cloudless sky, a wild wind, sixty five degrees and sunshine. Lovely, even if the wind makes driving more hazardous than usual.

There are so many commercials for lawyers on television. I wonder about that. Not to mention the news story about the man who hacked a dog to death with an axe in front of three little kids, or the football player who was paralyzed during last Friday during 5A playoffs, or the Massachusetts court ruling that the state ban on same sex marriages is unconstitutional.

What kind of a sick freak would kill a puppy with an axe in front of three children? I hope he gets locked up, and I hope even more that he gets some psychiatric attention. Geez. And how can he think the "I was mad because the puppy bit me" excuse is going to fly? Nobody axe-murders a puppy because it nipped them. He's clearly just a deranged stalker.

Oh my god! What kind of sick fuck would hack up their dog? And in front of their kids?

Speaking of sick things being done to dogs, did I tell you what happened to Samson?

If this isn't a clear sign this man is going to try to hurt his ex or the children, then I'll eat my hat. Deranged is right.

What happened to Samson? Tell me Amy didn't crochet little dog booties for him.

The dog bit him two weeks ago. Two weeks! That man is not only seriously crazy, but seriously stupid if he thinks that anyone is going to buy that.

People suck.

What a fucking nut. That is a man who needs some serious work done to his brain. Maybe even done with a two by four.

Yeah, I'd say that it's about as clear as you can get. Maybe if he took the puppy's blood and wrote "I WILL TRY TO HURT MY EX AND HER CHILDREN" on the walls of the house, it might be a little clearer. But not much.

No. Her boyfriend beat him so badly he nearly died. Apparently the asshole took that poor little eight pound dog into the closet and threw him up against the wall, repeatedly, then left him bleeding on the ground and went home. When Amy when over to his house that night he didn't tell her about it, so when she returned in the morning he was almost dead. He's okay now, but OMG that's sick! It happened before Krista moved in, though I just found out about it this weekend. Krista said if she'd been around then she'd probably be in jail now, because she would have taken a baseball bat to the fucker.

Are you saying the ruling declaring the ban on same-sex partnerships unconstitutional is a *bad* thing? Or are you just announcing the news story? Its hard to tell since its listed right along with the hacked up puppy and severe injury...

Holy fucking hell. I don't like the dog too much but I wouldn't do anything like that. Jesus! I hope she broke up with that fucker.

I think if you've read much of this journal, you would be hard pressed to come with anything saying that I don't support same sex marriages.

I was simply announcing how generally weird the human condition appears in the afternoon news. It should be bloody obvious that the state can't deny anyone a marriage license but we need a court ruling for that. It's a strange and sad thing, in that respect, and I wonder what kind of backlash the opposition will unleash.

Well that was just it... I've read a good bit of your journal and was getting rather confused on this end, wondering if I'd missed something... so I'd thought it might just be better to ask. :)
