wedding photos part 2

The view from the porch was lovely, in daylight and darkness. Brett brought his photos over on disc last night, and I'm posting a selection of them. Just a few because I'm already tired of formatting and resizing! But go on. Beware of many, many photos ahead.
This is the limestone fountain by day.

Behind the pool is the cottage where we stayed the night. Alan looks as if he's up to no good in this one. That's the man I fell in love with, right there.

Our cake!

Cutting the cake later. It wasn't until I started looking at the photos that I realized that bra made my breasts look enormous! I swear I don't really have that much cleavage.

This is Brett, aka British Boy and one of our best friends. He took this selection of photos for us, in addition to eight million other silly things that day.

Check out those sleeves and James giving that moving speech.

Alan reciting his vows.

Reciting my vows. I couldn't see any of the guests, thankfully, so no stage fright.

Moments afterward before the picture taking got out of control.

Aren't we all lovely?

The men of the evening, looking grand.

The women and a few of the photographers. We were blind from flashes.

That flask of rum was exactly what I needed afterwards.

The smoke makes the picture cool. Alan was drinking scotch.

I love this.

No wedding for you just yet young lady! *shakes finger at you* But one day, yes and I hope yours is as wonderful as mine.
(If you do one day decide to get married in Texas, I highly recommend November/December, weatherwise. It's pretty and not hot.)
