work is so fun

I was just ranting earlier about how much I want a steak. Go me. Anyhow, we're allowed to start leaving at 10pm, but I'm thinking I should try to stick it out til midnight just because we need the money. I'd rather go home and watch the UT game though.
01. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before? Saw an opera, got married
02. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I try not make such resolutions actually.
03. Did anyone close to you give birth? My former roommate had a baby.
04. Did anyone close to you die? Thankfully, no.
05. What countries did you visit? None this year.
06. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003? A significant bank balance, GRE scores, grad school applications finished
07. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? December 14th, my wedding day.
08. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Realizing that I answered to no one but myself and the powers that be.
09. What was your biggest failure? Not getting my ass in gear for grad school.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Only the worst hangover of my life, complete with horrific bruises
11. What was the best thing you bought? My car.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? My friends who graduated, Kevin getting into an awesome PhD program at Stanford
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? My sister, when she was still with Dimwit and getting arrested.
14. Where did most of your money go? Purchasing the car, the wedding
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? The 5th Harry Potter book

17. Compared to this time last year, you are: happier, more confident
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? travelling, writing
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? being lazy, making myself miserable
20. How will you be spending Christmas? Movies with my family on the Eve, Christmas Day with the inlaws
