I think it was watching my parents fight so much about money that really made me determined to stay out of debt. It was hard, and not really fun. I ate a lot of Totinos frozen pizza and noodles one year. Working full time kept me out of a lot of the cool stuff in college, and I'm sad I missed a lot of that. But I learned a lot about taking care of myself in that time.
