Reason number #849 why I love Alan:

We're watching Trading Spaces and I mention how I like Vern the designer and the carpenter Ty. They're fun and I would let them decorate my house. Alan looks at me and says, "There needs to be some slash about Vern and Ty."

You know what should be reason number one why you love Alan? Because he's a guy who's willing to watch Trading Spaces with you. This isn't something that comes naturally, or pleasantly, to us..... we just do it to offer our partners companionship.
