They sent us home right after the monthly Flood Education meeting. It was the most boring one we've had in the year I've been working there. Oh well. At least I'm home now, I ate a dark chocolate key lime truffle, and the dishwasher is running. There's hockey on television, and I'll get to see the premiere of Witch Hunter Robin! What a nice day.

Tsar Slate is chewing on my foot. What an odd cat.

I think my classes this semester could rival your Flood Education meeting in uber-boringness.

Man it was seriously dull. It's great we have #1 market share for determinations and such, but the speaker was so dull. Sucha shame, since he's the head of client services! The meeting where the LCRA guy came to tell us about building dams and hydrilla and stuff was cool.

I'm looking forward to seeing Witch Hunter Robin. I hope it's as good as it looks.

I met Elisa's new dog today and she spent a while trying to chew on my foot. She also decided that the needed to tackle and lick me several times. Heh. Dogs. Go figure.

Me too, me too.

What kind of dog did Elisa get?

Ladybug(called Bug) is a golden retriever-chow-irish setter mix, not very big. She's a sweet dog. Very soft and very playful.

That is an odd combo, but sounds cute.
