threeplusfireFew things are as pleasurable as rolling out of bed and going straight to the pool. It's one of the things that makes working nights bearable. Perfect skies, a temperature in the mid 80s, and a pool all to myself. I pretend I'm a much wealthier person in my head while I float around. I'll miss this thing when I transfer to the day shift.
Next week the office starts closing at midnight, and we'll be starting our shifts at 3pm. Fortunately there is a seat for me in Colorado, though I'll have some three hour phone training session to endure. It's the only thing that makes me nervous. I hate talking on the phone. It took me months before I was able to answer my own cell phone without cringing. I hardly ever call anyone, though I am getting better.
