the power of email

It's been an odd day.
After lamenting the lack of Easter baskets and candy in my life, my father in law arrived with one full of jelly beans in plastic eggs today. We talked about Iraq over lunch at Ninfa's, and Alan began working on Edward's computer.
I wasn't at work twenty minutes before my evil lead said something to upset me. Twenty minutes into a shift, and I'm nearly in tears. At Brett and Waldo's urging, I fired off an email to my supervisor about the possibility of transferring to the day shift and staying in the Colorado bay. Half an hour later, Alan and I had approval from the powers that be to transfer. So on Tuesday, we will officially start dayshift hours.
This will probably wreak havoc on my sleep schedule and brain, but sweet candy lambs I'll finally have a normal schedule! I can choose the bar I want to go to after work, I can actually catch people online for RPGS, and life might just get a bit easier.
