threeplusfireI've taken more pills, more painkillers in the past twenty four hours than I have in the past year. I avoid pills and such unless I'm in serious pain for the most part, but this has been agonizing.
The upshot is that I think it may be okay. The tooth looks like it is coming in straight and whole. The pain right now appears to be concentrated in the gum, and soft tissue in that corner of the jaw. I'm praying it's not infected or anything, just an exceptionally sucktacular entrance.
We gamed a bit tonight, a slow D&D session. Alonso didn't show and we were short a sorceror which made things difficult as all get out. It gave me a bad headache. My only real problem was Jason being so dice and rules happy, and how our characters had no real reason to be doing anything. That was a little frustrating, but perhaps my pain addled state caused me to miss something. Combat is quick and dirty as it should be, we just need to find some reason for these characters to come together.
I've got a better idea of who my ranger character is now, however. He's perhaps the most lawful character I've ever played.
