taking flight

Since the dental work only set me back $300, I had the money to go ahead and buy that plane ticket. I'll be flying to Phoenix and then to Newark, which makes no sense to me but then airlines never do. I'll be flying out on the 25th of June, and the movers are expected hopefully on that Saturday. Cate tells me it will take about three days of trundling across the country. I've never driven that far before. I am going to try and take a week solid off work, so I have some time on the return side to help Cate unpack a little and settle back into the house. I wonder if she wants her rug back...

I want a cigarette like you wouldn't believe. Ergh. I think it's more from knowing I can't have one than an actual craving for the nicotine. Maybe if I just hold one in my hand that will help.

I am looking forward to the travelling, eating weird fast food and staying in funny little motels. Too bad I don't have a camcorder or I would surely turn the whole thing into a bad movie!

Thank you for the offer. We're going to be unpacking her down in Canyon Lake, which might be a little far for you to do in one afternoon. Maybe if I find a Star Trek teleporter on eBay....

maybe you can borrow a camcorder from someone?
i have one that i would let you borrow, but i do film my baby a lot and the quality isn't that good, then again you would make a "bad" movie so it might work.

if you want it i will definitely think about letting you borrow it. when are you going and coming back?

Canyon Lake is down I35 past San Marcos and to the west. Takes a little more than an hour from our side of town, I think. Not too bad of a drive so long as you avoid the rush hours.

Thank you for the offer! As soon as I know how big of a bag I am taking, I'll ask again. I'm flying out on June 25th, and should be back in town in five days or so.
