always behind

I have a history of wandering into interests/fandoms/obsessions about three steps behind the rest of the world. Part of me has this bad habit of developing an aversion to things that are popular and I think that comes from my first relationship. That said, I find myself kinda enjoying the random episodes of Buffy that I catch on Saturday afternoons or in the middle of the night. They're fun, and nice to watch. Most fandoms leave me cold these days though.

I have taken up some with my original establishment character again, with some fresh inspiration. Should be fun if I find a place to go with it.

My boot is drying out and I am hoping this urine stain and smell remover will work its magic. I spot tested it and no problems, so I have my fingers crossed. I probably need to get some supplies to take care of my boots. Poor things.

Today has been crappy, and not for any good reasons. I'm feeling disinclined to communicate directly with anyone or anything other than my journal. Too bad I can't do the day over again.

Hehehe, excellent! I am pleasantly surprised by how good the show is, and how much I like it.

Yeah. Buffy is my guilty pleasure. Many of the episodes are just plain silly, but then there are some that are absolutely brilliant. When I had cable, I watched it every afternoon and taped it when i couldn't be home. Fun stuff. ;)
Hope your day gets better. You wanna deviate from your hermitage and come to our party tonight?

The dialogue is sharp, and I like that.

Sorry we won't be coming out tonight.
