What bullshit. What have they accomplished? The Smoke Free Monday nights at local clubs have abyssmal turnout, and people are seriously deluding themselves if they think bars will just go nonsmoking. Who wants a bar full of those damned California non-smokers anyhow?
God I hope Halcyon can push the city council on a variance for coffee shops. I wonder if Doug knows about that. They certainly need it. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
This has made what was simply a dreary day into a downright crappy one. I think I'm off to drink beer and smoke my black little heart out with glee. I've also decided I won't be embarassed when people shoot me nasty looks for daring to smoke. I'll just put my cigarettes out on their shoes.
