now is time for xanax

One of the carhops at Sonic was on rollerskates today.

I keep having nightmares about the flight, more than I've ever had just before a trip. They started over the weekend, and haven't let up. Honestly I could give up the next two days and wake up Saturday feeling much better about the whole thing. The nightmares have made me somewhat irritable and on edge.

Work doesn't help that feeling. The queue was two hours overdue and counting down when I got in this morning.

I finally saw the person who drives the Audi TT roadster I see in the parking garage at work, and I loathe her because she has that car. She's far too tall for it anyhow, and has a bad haircut. Not to mention an appalingly ugly beige linen suit and striped shirt. Another moment of absurd pettiness.

That really should be my car. I bet she doesn't even drive fast.

You tell those nightmares to get lost!! Because I heard from a little birdie that there's gonna be plenty of chocolate waiting for ya when you get here! And wine! And junk food of all sorts!! Save the xanax for the cats...they'll need it more than us! ; )

It's the terror of etickets. Despite my love for them, and the ease, I always worry about losing my ID or my credit card. Gah.

Yay wine, yay chocolate!

I know what you mean. E-tickets always freak me out a bit too...it always seems like I'm trusting someone just on their word that I'll be able to fly. It always made me feel better to have a piece of paper to hang on to.

But don't worry. It will be just fine! : )
